Yes, it does depend on the areas in the country you live in as some parts of
New Zealand are well known for their autumn colours. Central Otago (about 2
hours drive from where I live) has a place called Arrowtown that looks
magical at this time of the year.

Yep I know what you mean. For me it seems strange to think of winter / cold
etc. during Christmas. For me it's a time to swim in the sea and go camping
in the sun.
