Disabled Firemen Manning a Fire Station????? :-( :-( Well be sure they weren't teeth marks authorized by the Am. Dental Association. :) ... (just joking)... But seriously there may be say secretaries who are visually impaired or perhaps janitors. Just guessing. But yes some 'rules' are way over done. I had pool float where on one since were safety rules printed out in seven languages. GOsh. I dunno sometimes. .hmm. Don't we all know that you should never leave a child unattended at a pool? Nor use the float as a chew toy? Or oh as a life saving device? (HUH?) We have new signs up around the area left to go wild in our neighborhood development's park. The signs say : Migration areas Do not Disturb. As if a sign would stop anybody who cared to do so. hmm. Some rules for safety (mostly common sense) are good and needed, but sometimes they're often the most expensive and least effectual meanms to 'fix' whatever it is the special interest group is aiming for. Just to hush 'em up. Oh ps yes I know the arguments for a lot of this sign stuff is meant to protect companies against frivolous law suits- but it is rather sad too we need so many at all. On the "humor" (Not sure this is funny) side I once purchased a bag of frozen ravioli wherein the instructions said to test for done-ness with a meat thermometer. I kid not! Cindy ...
