I was shocked to read Dr. Fox telling someone how they could get their
reluctant dog into the water to swim with them. I felt it was selfish
for the human to force a dog into the water when the dog clearly
doesn't want to go into it!

Our Patches hated the water we never forced him into the pool.... we
learned the kids of his former owner would TOSS HIM into their pool..
it was 'great fun!' for the kids.. not the dog.
