Hi Bruce:

I do. I am porting over ALL my previous FoxPro projects to VFP 5.0. I have
been successful at bringing dBASE III over as well. In April, I'll be
elping
a friend here convert her dBASE IV application to VFP 5.0, too. They run
"nearly" without any modification. Once you see it, however, you begin to
ask yourself, "Why did I port this over? It really stinks! I could really
make this application soar if I convert it."
Conversion, of course, requires that you learn the Object Oriented paradigm.
But, since you know what your previous application did (and HOW it did it),
that part is over. NOW, you apply, piece by piece, the new techniques. I
find it envigorating! I still have much to learn, but you can get up to
speed faster than you thought you could. Really.
