Ben Poehland didn't buy MS-DOS systems, they were throwing away Compaq
486 systems at Smith-Kline pharmaceuticals where he was working as a
research chemist, and he got them for nothing except the time and
trouble of picking them out of a dumpster and taking them home. Anyway,
he needed computers and printers that were capable of CAD and printing
of complex chemical formulas, and, sadly, no one was ever able to do
that, or attempted to do that, with an Atari -- so he decided to switch
out of necessity. Dumping ALL of his Atari 8-bit hardware may be a
regrettable mistake, however....
