Prior to the crash my main BBS directory (ELE) held the W32 version of EleBBS and node one directory (ELE\NODE1) held the DOS version of ELEBBS. This was done to accomodate Binkley v2.30 which works very good for me. Now however it's giving me fits. Sometimes the local computer will answer (Binkley is hot then spawns the bbs) and Binkley spawns the BBS, but a remote caller just gets a "no carrier". After checking almost every setting imaginable it hit me at work today that perhaps it's how I doing it. Since the BBS still isn't set up I'm just opening a DOS window and loading the BBS from the command line. How could/should I correct this. Thanks in advance... _______________________________________________________________ --- Internet Rex 2.29* Origin: The gateway at The Snake (2:280/4312.101) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 280/4312 774/605 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
