128 bit WEP (haven't done WAP yet), and MAC address list to allow only
specified devices to connect.
I saw another box at CompUSA today, that allows dual 108mb connection
streams at once. Didn't need it, so didn't look too closely at it.
The WAP can get IP addresses via DHCP, as well as assign them if needed.
I just got a cool new beta utility from Joe Hance at NetSwitcher, it's a
Wireless Scan/monitor that has a scrolling display of signal level for all
visible Wireless lans that the card can see. Eventually, it's going to be
hooked into Net Switcher, and it saves different 802.11 configs by
location. When hooked into NetSwitcher, when you change connection
locations, it will also apply the Wireless connection profile as well.
Nice new function to this kool little app.
