Ford swings to a loss (Reuters)
Reuters - Ford Motor Co. on Thursday said it swung to a loss in the
third quarter as sales of high-margin sport utility vehicles declined
and its key North American unit remained in the red.
Coke profit rises on international sales (Reuters)
Reuters - Coca-Cola Co. on Thursday reported a 37 percent jump in
third-quarter profit on healthy growth of soft-drink sales in China,
Mexico and other international markets, sending its shares up 4
percent.
Pfizer profit drops 52 percent (Reuters)
Reuters - Pfizer Inc., the world's biggest drugmaker, on Thursday said
third-quarter earnings fell 52 percent, hit by charges, tumbling sales
of its Celebrex arthritis drug and generic competition.
Stock futures dip on results (Reuters)
Reuters - U.S. stock futures pointed to a slightly weaker market open on
Thursday after disappointing quarterly results from Pfizer Inc. and
