Trev figured it out -- I had been messing around with the time/date settings 
on the system to see what would happen to Opus with a date after the year 
2000.  We threw out the sched.dat and built a new one, and now everything 
works again.  (We're only running one Opus so we didn't have a COMMON.DAT, 
otherwise we would have replaced it too.)
