fEW bbses with regular modem lines, to utilize telnet they'd have to pay an isp.

My wife and I were the ham radio operators for charity/University hospitals
in NEw ORleans during Katrina for a week there. WE've both been active hams
for many years. I"m still active in fact, assisting vessels at sea,
missionaries, etc. as well as local emergency training for the new hams.
Don't recall Laura, but it's 5 in the morning and I just got up to get a
glass of water and see what's happening with the bbs overnight.
Btw on the echo moderator thing, rOger NElson is listed in the echolist as
current moderator, so you're safe there .
I may have told the story in this echo of the first ROttweiler we had which
we rescued off the street of NEw ORleans. IF I didn't I"ll tell it in
this echo. MIght've scrolled off Frank's board though if I did, because it
would have been when I first rejoined fido about a year ago.
Regards,
Richard
