This system is POTS only.

I really don't see any *need* to be connected to the Internet.  If I need something
there I can go to either Emerson or Red Oak and use the computers they have for
public use (at Emerson one has to fight with the kids to use them, though).

Once upon a time everybody just HAD to have a CB radio and one couldn't get a
word in edgewise on most of the bands.  Hopefully the Internet will go the same
way...
