Interesting!  I have the WRT54G (no S), and my brother-in-law has the
WRT54GS.  Both of them have been solid as a rock.  Don't have any idea what
the firmware is, though.  I'm using them with a 3COM PC Card in one
ThinkPad, an old Linksys card in another and a built-in card in a 3rd.  I
think my brother-in-law is using the built-in wireless in his ThinkPad, but
I'm not sure.
