No I'm not testing it from within the IDE....I'm fully compiling it 
(tried both the large and huge memory models) and it still won't read 
the files.  Works fine with smaller ones though.
Anybody have some XMS routines that would allow me to do linked lists 
and stuff like that versus having to copy everything element by element 
(character by character) into XMS?
