At the time I had other things on my hobby list, but I've always wondere CS>about HAM radio. A lot has changed since I was first licensed over 27 years ago. But, I've made so many new friends...locally, around the country, and around the world. And, at some of the yearly events, known as "hamfests", you can meet the people you've talked to on the radio. The funny part is that the mental image you made of them is NOT AT ALL what they look like in person.
