Dear Donna, 
    There are some of the big needles [ i use them to teach leather pouch 
making at SCA events, that are about 4 inches long.   The others are 6 
or 6 1/2 inches long.  The are all about the same diameter all the way, 
until the very tip.   
    I will take your instructions to hard copy, but i really do need an 
angel on my shoulder. 
     Right now i couldn't spare time for anything new.  I have a big SCA 
event coming up on Jan. 24 and that great grand has her birthday about 
the same time.  Hurry, hurry , hurry.
