Dear Ruth,
You can bet that i am not cutting separate facings or anything like
that. The blouses are 3 piece [if sleeveless] the skirts a one piece.
The rain cloak is three pieces plus the hood. I use round elastic, tiny
snaps and when practical velcro. I may pick up some glue on velcro as
very small pieces are hard to sew on. I fear, however, that the glue
on kind will tear off again from little fingers.
The wedding dress for Barbie, is coming well. I have hopes that it
will be lovely and it will certainly be both sturdy and washable, as i
have made a built in slip and used fraycheck on all the seams.
I'm sorry Rachel had the accident, but glad she was unhurt. A dear
friend of mine [here in Biloxi] also had a bad fall two days ago, and
had to have emergency surgery to replace her shoulder. It seems a year
of disasters, both near and far.
             Shalom, ll
