It commences on the last Sunday in September, when 2.00am becomes 3.00am. It
ends on the first Sunday in April, when 3.00am becomes 2.00am. So I'm not far
from dropping out of daylight savings time now..

I have the same issue where I live at Christmas time waiting until 10pm or
later for it to be dark enough to take the kids out for a drive to look at
the christmas lights on the houses.
