There are at least 2 ways that one can get housing on the government tit.
The most well known way is the section 8 that we usually talk about. It
works with the government co-paying the majority of your rent to a private
landlord you pay about 1/3 of your income for rent and they make up the
difference straight to the land lord. The other kind is very similar except
that the land lord is some kind of charitable organization like the
Salvation Army. Not all of these organization land lords are religious in
nature but many of them are. The biggest difference for the tenant is
thats/he pays only 1/4 of their income.

Otto lives in some kind of subsidized housing, he told us that himself
years ago. Otto doesn't realize that most people here remember things he
has said better than he remembers them himself.
