Hello All!

After I had attended my conference in Victoria on the 9th, I got into my
car and started the long haul north to Whitehorse.  At the end of the
second day on the road I got to Dawson Creek, the start of the Alaska
Highway, and had a great visit with Gord Hannah (thanks for the pizza and
ice cream pie, Gord) and started off North the next morning.  All was
uneventful except for a speeding ticke3t north of Fort Nelson but I made
the Liard Hotsprings Lodge that night, soaked in the hot springs, and got
to Whitehorse by 4:00 PM on the 14th.

Not bad for four days of travelling, helped by the fact that the roads were good.
