It got to stay here.  I have no kids so no one wanted to take
it away from me except my friend, and she already has two so...
I kept it and it looked lovely on my front door!  Tom loved it
too which made me feel extra glad I made it.

I'm so slow this year!  usually I at least get the messages more
often than this but I am getting lazy in my old age.  I'll be 49
years old this month.  Gee, time flies when you're having fun!  And
I enjoy my crafting so I'm having loads of fun!

Instead of writing the year on mine, I stick a very gaudy postit
note in my checkbook and move it to the next check every time, on
it I write the year in big numbers with a black Sharpie marker.  I
rubber stamp around that with hearts and little flowers and lots of
different colors so I can't miss it when I open the checkbook to
write a check, and it reminds me.  Everyone who sees it grins, but I
don't care!  It sure helps!

If you are like me, you will have them out by now!  I have mine back
out on the table.  All my rubber stamping stuff was put away in their
containers and now they are all scattered about like they were before.

Oh we have had a great holiday season here.  Not too much of
the goodies this time, though.  I didn't bake the cookies I'd
planned on so I have loads of stuff to make goodies with, but
Tom's sis was on TOPS and they decided in their group that if
they gained a pound they had to pay a dollar and not just a 
quarter like usual, so she didn't want to be tempted.  And I was
very tired, so....no cookies!  Tom pouted but he's lost weight
and didn't want to gain it back either.

Yes, I saw that your part of the country got snowbound!  It
looks pretty out the window but when you have to go out in it
it's not so lovely, is it?  Glad you didn't have to!

Yes,  you are special!  And aren't we having fun?  I've gotten 
out some quilling today.  I love making little gift tags out of
quilled flowers.  But I sure am klutzy with those paper strips!
Oh well practice makes perfect!
