If I left HOLYSMOKE to its old format, people such as yourself would have
been the topic of discussion for daring to have faith or defending others
who do.

I made it no secret that I was attempting to balance the scales of the echo
to favor both camps 50/50, you had no problem with that notion then, but
seems so now.

HOLYSMOKE was a place to ridicule religion, all I did was try to turn it
into a religious debate echo.

It was no takeover and for you information, no one has to report to you all
the goings on in or out of the network.

Bob Seaborn and myself were asked by Steve to watch over and run the echo,
thats is all you need to know.

No echo that I have listed or ever listed was acquired by me in some sort
of takeover, I either created the echo fresh or the prior moderator of
record gave it to me, much like you did with the CIVLIB echo, which was
close to the time you gave up your Fidonet node number, if I recall
correctly. You were in NET 202 yes?

Change happens all the time, FIDONEWS used to be strictly about the
newsletter of the same name..

The echo didnt die because of the format, in fact the format change I did
was so that people on your side would have an equal footing.

The echo was dead and desolate before I made that change and the common
denominator was that your side saw Ceppa and smelled blood..

It is right in front of your face, the echo is now again dead and desolate
and the common denominator is that Ceppa is no longer there.

But you get all offended when this gets pointed out to you.

Ceppa surely didnt conduct himself well in there, but had he not come back
in there, co-mod or not, you wouldnt have bothered, nor anyone else.

Bullshit, it would have been just another them/you against Ceppa/Sauer
match, and you know it.

Admit that the feeling is mutual. Ceppa is being made to shoulder alot of
this blame, but reality has it different, both sides have plenty of blame
to shoulder. I really aint trying to say that I am condemning you or he for
this animosity, but dont you put it all on just him.
