    BoSox Beat Yankees to Tie for AL East Lead (AP)

AP - Of course the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees are tied with two
 games to go. The AL East had to come down to this. Jason Varitek
 homered, David Ortiz drove in another big run and David Wells (15-7)
 got another big win at Fenway Park to give the Red Sox a 5-3 victory
 Friday night.

    Blown Save Tightens NL Wild-Card Race (AP)

AP - Closer Brad Lidge could not hold the lead. Now it's up to Roger
 Clemens to make the save. When Clemens takes the mound Saturday, he
 will be trying to help the Houston Astros protect a lead that is down
 to one game in the NL wild-card race.

AP - Donald Trump's new course fronting the Pacific Ocean looked great

AP - John Huston could be setting himself up for another October win.

    Super Bowl Star Nabbed on Cocaine Charge (AP)

AP - Timmy Smith, who set a Super Bowl rushing record when he played for

 trying to sell cocaine to an undercover drug agent.

    Dickau traded to Celtics for second round draft pick (Reuters)

Reuters - The New Orleans Hornets dealt guard Dan Dickau to the Boston
 Celtics on Friday in exchange for a second round pick in the 2006
 draft.
