LOL.  The New Zealand government tried to pass a tax on cattle emissions a
few years ago.  A fellow I used to write to there sent the article from the
local newspaper, but that was lost in the storm.

None here that I've noticed, although there are quite a few
farms/plantations around.  They mostly grow sugar cane and everything is
mechanized.  The closest thing to a buckboard is in the French Quarter of
N.O., where people are taken on tours of the Quarter by horse and buggy.
