When I was in the Netherlands, I found a wifi supplier who offered a week
of unlimited access for 24.95 Euro. More than I'd like but a lot less than
$0.75 per minute. I subscribed.

You were coming north so shouldn't the best views have been on the starboard side?

The road should have been fine from Whitehorse to Haines Junction. After
that it has real problems with frost heaves (not potholes) even though
millions have been spent to repair these. When my wife and her mother
accompanied me to Fairbanks in 1993, my mother-in-law got so upset by the
Destruction Bay-Beaver Creek experience that on the way back we took the
Top of the World (Taylor) Highway from Tetlin Junction to Dawson. Loved
the trip and saved the bumps.
