| subject: | Re: China Dumps The Dolla |
Hello Jeff., -=> Quoting Jeff Snyder to Peter Coggon <=- JS> Hello again Peter. Nice to see you posting here. JS> It is indeed true that China, as well as many other countries, large JS> and small, have been dumping the US dollar, and converting large JS> portions of their currency reserve to the euro, for several years now. I believe, that the market exists , where there is a cross roads of civilization, and where too there is stablity, and right now the European Union is that crossroads to place a successful marketplace. JS> Following is an excerpt from my January 2007 series "Saddam Hussein's JS> Execution And The Euro-Dollar War". While the list may be a little JS> outdated, it shows the nations which have been taking these steps: JS> ----- Begin Quote ----- JS> The following list is constantly evolving, and may not be complete at JS> the time that you read this. Nevertheless, it is easy to see that the JS> Euro has steadily advanced, since its creation in 1999. When the JS> Euro-based economies reach a critical mass, the U.S. dollar will JS> explode, and the Euro will become the de facto reserve currency of the JS> world, which will be used to make most oil purchases. JS> Andorra Guadalupe (Caribbean) Pakistan JS> Australia Herzegovina Portugal JS> Austria Hungary Qatar JS> Belgium Indonesia Reunion (Indian Ocean) JS> Bosnia-Herzegovina Iran Romania JS> Botswana Ireland Russia JS> Bulgaria Israel Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon JS> Canada Italy San Marino JS> Canary Islands Jordan Saudi Arabia JS> Cape Verde Kosovo Serbia JS> CFA Franc Zone Kuwait Seychelles JS> China Latvia Slovakia JS> Comoros Islands Libya Spain JS> Croatia Lithuania Sweden JS> Cuba Luxembourg Syria JS> Cyprus Macedonia The Netherlands JS> Czech Republic Madeira The Vatican JS> Denmark Malaysia Tunisia JS> Estonia Malta United Arab Emirates JS> Finland Martinique United Kingdom JS> France Mayotte United States JS> French Guyana Monaco Vanuatu JS> FYR Macedonia Montenegro Venezuela JS> Germany Morocco Yugoslavia JS> Greece North Korea JS> ----- End Quote ----- I see Canada there, and the USA, and here we post the exchange rates of the Euro, and I only watch PBS TV and during their report they do the same. JS> It is my belief that the rise of the European Union, as well as the JS> creation of the euro, are some of the key reasons why friction exists JS> between the USA and Europe. Simply put, the United States simply does JS> not like competition when it comes to its foreign markets, and it views JS> Europe as a serious threat. Most wars have been over trade issues, but JS> they have been disguised as being about something else. Wars are always money. The USA isn't the first , nor last, and remember the powerful East India Company had it's own virtual navy and army to plunder with, as well the advantage to pull England into a war. Yes, I would say the shift has caused ripples in CANADA and the USA as we are well tied together in this shift. As for center of money ...yes to that too. No one likes threatening competition when it looks like one is going to loose the number one spot. I have faced the new European Union, as a new Super Power in the world and with influence and with knowhow, and if they can make the world a better place, and serve as a model for us all to attain, then we should be taking a good look at what they've done. Thank you for letting me post here Jeff. I know this is for Bible study, and discussion, so I shall bow out gracefully. Peter ...
