JPH> Other than that I agree whole heartedly with what you say in
 JPH> this post.
Good! Now maybe we can move onto exploring other aspects of
Trek's infinite diversities.
JPH> having an argument, making things easier to understand would seem to
 JPH> be a good thing.
Communication is the key to knowledge and understanding.
JPH> If you were to say "Everything is equally valid", meaning that
JPH> everything from books and TV is open to discussion, then I'd agree
 JPH> without reservation.
See my post to Tariq, this is exactly what I said to him.

JPH> IMHO, TPTB should have read the books and stolen the good bits
JPH> out of them. I also think that being a little more serious about
JPH> continuity (Rather than less as in Voyager) would be a good thing.
Not stolen, but given credit where credit is due and moving on. I
already pointed out to Tariq that by TBTB investing themselves in the
whole Canon vs. Non-canon issue they perpetuate the problem.
JPH> But really I liked the story portrayed in Vendetta better...
Again, not having seen FC myself, I can't comment on it
directly.
