It originated as a magazine. Then the articles were merged into 2
editions of the Tightwad Gazette. Some of the ideas are TOO cheap for
even me, but their theory is to use, use and reuse. Find creative ways
to use things instead of buying. Lots of ideas-- Cheap baby things,
fix-ups and repairs, garage sales and thrift stores. She generously
uses (and credits) ideas by readers. (How many ways can you think of to
use those frozed juice lids, anyway?)
If you live on a limited income, or want to simply spend less, you
should pick up quite a number of ideas in these books!
