Hi Abb:
AN> I agree with Den and
AN> David here that there is a big market out there for a 16 bit version
AN> of Visual FoxPro, or a new 16 bit FoxPro of some kind.
AN> ... Anyone who clings to dying technology is being left behind...
I heard that! But you are correct. We feel there there is plenty of room
for both 16- and 32-bit apps. Many of our clients wish to remain in the
16-bit
realms a "bit" longer, however. We'd like to be able to better support them.
As our clients gradually ease into 32-bit, we are delighted that the
opportunity to help them there is still growing.
I have an application that still generates royalties in dBASE III. And
though I'm grateful for the revenue, I'd rather not return to those days
since having tasted the Visual FoxPro of these days.
David in Dallas.
