Is that surprising?   It is afteral the same character.

I remember times when the later Tom Baker acted like a Jon Pertwee, and
times when I saw that moment or so in Peter Davison.  As Davison's Doctor
once said, a person is a sum of his memories, a time lord doubly so.  :)

Really doesn't bother me when I see a later Doctor acting like a earlier
one.  I just think that makes sense.
