In this echo, I haven't seen so much discussion about anything Alaska in
quite a while.

I'm one of the few who supported Sarah for Vice-President since spring.
I just wish the McCain & staff had not waited until the last minute with
their decision. It showed that she had too little time to learn McCain's
perspective on what were the issues and his opinions. 

If elected, I think she will quickly learn about the issues, even if she
hasn't had a lot of exposure to national issues yet.

Often, the vice-presidential job is as an understudy to the president. We
can all hope any vice-president has years to master the issues.
Unfortunately, there have been three times in my life that the
vice-president has suddenly been thrust into the presidency.
