TW> First impression would be a Ham in the Neighborhood overloading the From TW> end of the Phone. Originally I thought that, too, but it follows me wherever I live. Before Katrina hit in '05, I lived 85-miles northeast of here in a city named Mandeville. I don't see any transmission towers around here where someone might have a ham or some higher meter band station. One thing I didn't experience, that Bob Ackley mentioned, is that sound coming through my computer speakers when they are off. On, yes, but never off. The sound always comes through my cell phone, which is never off. Lots of microwave towers around, but I doubt that anyone is using them with a key to communicate with someone out of the line of sight. I think those waves travel in a straight line, so you'd have to have a relay point of some sort. Regards, Roger ...
