Hi, guys

I've used some of the techniques mentioned regarding outdoor =
connections. To date, using electrical tape as a first layer and coax =
seal as the second have worked quite well for me. =20

Applying a layer of electrical tape followed by a 3-M product that is =
called something like 'liquid electrical tape' and then - after curing - =
another layer of electrical tape have been successful, as well.

Ron has added Platri-Dip and Liquid tape. While I have some of the =
Plasti-Dip (both dip and spray varieties), I have not used it to seal =
outside connections. It does look like it would work quite well, =
though. =20

So far I've only used it as a coating for more mundane projects, like a =
set of paddles made from PC board. A few layers of dip produces a very =
nice, thick coat. The fact it comes in various colors doesn't hurt, =
either. I used red for the paddle fingerpieces.

So, is the 20 meter net up and going? Might check in one rainy Saturday =
afternoon.

73, Bob
