Hi Jeannelou, JT > Before i forget again. If you use muslin for your wax, be sure to JT > wash the sizing out of it first. Info noted. Thanks JT > I noticed the same two things about needle tatting: you can take it JT > out and it is just half hitches. I want to learn it!!!! Since there seems to be some interest in needle tatting, I am going to post the info in a separate msg on where to get kit and supplies. I'm really having fun trying to follow patterns in a book that I bought several years ago and have since seen described as ADVANCED. JT > I am using needles i get at addressed merchandise place for 10 JT > cents a piece. I have to dull them, but any piece of cement will do JT > that. How long are these needles and are they the same diameter the whole length? The one that came with the kit is 5" long and the same diameter. The catalog shows 3 different sizes for different size threads, just like in crocheting/knitting. Sure like you pricing a lot better. ttyl, Donna > --- Platinum Xpress/Win/Wildcat5! v2.0 > (1:3604/1) --- FMail 0.98 ---------------> * Origin: Webb's World BBS, On The Gulf Coast, Biloxi MS, 601-385 * Origin: (1:3634/12.35) |
