Hi Jeannelou,
JT> Thanks for the prayers. All this doctor did was to send me to
JT> another doctor, so i still know from nothing.
Well, hopefully doc #2 will give you some concrete answers. I've had to
play "chase the problem" before, never did come up with a specific
answer so I can sympathise (and pray).
JT> Perhaps Rachel really doesn't care to try to relate to an oldster
JT> like me. That's ok, if it is her choice. I have lots of folks to
She's more worried about how you would relate to her; I told herto give
it a go, she may find a kindred spirit.
JT> keep me busy. Also, she may not have time for me in her busy
Her schedule is a bit less busy, was laid off after inventory. But, she
and David were in an accident on base Saturday (near the MP station) and
their car needs some work. Someone oncoming swerved into their lane as
he adjusted a floor mat so our kids were not at fault. Nobody hurt but
they have to get the car fixed before they move in 5+ weeks.
JT> Let's take the pressure off and let her decide.
Yes, she's got a lot on her mind right now. She had a good talk with
her sister Saturday, me the day before. Which reminds me, I've got to
write down the way I came up with for making her tree skirt useable and
send it to her. I'd like her to pick up a sewing machine but she is
holding off for now.
JT> I have just started to make some Barbie clothes for my oldest
JT> great grand's birthday,at the end of this month. I hope i remember
JT> how. I do have a wonderful set of simplified patterns for that size
I never used a pattern for Barbie clothes but then, mine were'nt high
style either. One year for Christmas I gave the girls some cut and
stitch Barbie clothes, I wonder if they are still available. They were
all preprinted, had all the notions (needle, thread, snaps), and clear
instructions for about ages 8 and up. Don't try messing with cut
separate facings, etc; keep them basic and you'll avoid lots of
frustration.
I've got some mending and catching up on projects previously cut out,
then I'm going to do a quilt top. Haven't decided if I'm going to hand
or machine quilt yet, now that I've more work room, the machine quilting
should be easier than before.
Catch you later,
Ruth
