I think that would depend on where it's being used. If you're in your car,
that would be a very effective Faraday shield. Which would be a like
sitting in a microwave oven while it's on. A rubber duck antenna next to
your ear inside that vehicle would probably not be within the SAR set by
the FCC. Using a remote antenna would be a wise move there.
