Big John,

I dood it, dood.  I'm getting an Intel 3.4e and an Athlon 3500+ in early
March for testing, so I am no longer ashamed of myself, just embarrassed
beyond belief.  The machines will be the same except for mobo (Intel/Asus)
and processors.

I'll let you know what we find out.  The winning chip will go in about a
dozen replacement PCs here.
