-> Phantom power was applied to the input. I'm not familiar with PA -> systems enough to know if phantom power is +12, +24, or AC... or what -> it would do plugged in to a tube device input. If it was hooked into the effects send (like it should have been if they were using it for a pa) no phantom power would be applied.
