Hello Dan,
DD>> Just as US football holds a "world series" with only US teams
DC> involved
DC> "lea
ml>> der of the free world" only includes USA.
ml>> erm... that's baseball with the "world series" ;)
ml>> american football's similar is the "super bowl"...
DC> Yes, and it is not *only* US teams, there are a couple of Canadian teams
DC> in major league baseball. :-)
Toronto is the only Canadian baseball team allowed to play in MLB.
There are professional baseball teams in Japan. And in South Korea.
And let's not forget about all them great amateur baseball teams in
Cuba. Those teams are really good, and able to beat the best MLB
teams from the USA. We should invite them to play over here, in front
of our fans, to show everybody here how great they are.
I guess Donald J. Trump was too scared of "losing" to Cuba.
Even in a children's game known as baseball.
And then there are those Little League baseball players. They also
have a World Series. It's called The World Series in Major League
Baseball. Just like the Big Leagues. Teams from everywhere around
the world compete. Quite unlike the other league for adults only.
And not just from the USA and one team in Canada). Look at how many
times teams from Taiwan have won. And Japan. And Mexico. And also
Venezuela. And Curacao. And from many other places, such as the
Philippines (but got caught cheating and had to rescind its title).
Baseball is not just for those who play in the USA. And do keep
in mind, girls are allowed to play in Little League.
