Microwave ovens are up in the 2000 Mhz range. And use FAR more power
then a Cell phone. And since the heating effect is Highly Frequency
dependent 800 Mhz, considering the low power levels is not a problem
for the majority of the users. Now those that have the phone "Glued
to their ear do seem to become Terminaly Stupid. BUT I thing that is
more genetic rather than any actual brain damage, particualrly when
Driving.
When you get down to the Ham 2 meter range even 5 watts is contributing
little to No heating to the Human tissue.
