With Fuel Costs that is very true. Thwe profit on the Sals is too close
to the delivery costs.
Soem comercial outfits are going to High Tech(computerized methods of
redicing delivery fuel costs. As an Example UPS in some areas are
routing their trucks so there wil be a Minimunm number of Left Turns. In
an 8 hour shift the engine Idling time for wating to do a Left turn is
significant. And as a side Benifit they can deliver more packages per
shift becaue of the waiting time decrease.
