Oh, stick with it...I could put together computers (with assistance from
techs on the phone) and still can't figure out a VCR.  I am still not
able to record a movie, just learned to play and backup....
I guess it's the motivation behind all of it..VCR, movies, tv and the
such are boring to me.  Give me a motherboard, io card, case with the
floppies, cd rom and of course memmory chips with me in a locked room
with all of this and I am in heaven, oh yes. the modem too. smile
but  A VCR....uggggg! tv? as a couple of other things that are popular
