subject: Running Commo in Windows

CE>Question: I have Commo setup to run in Windows, what happens is that
CE>Commo starts up, but, the init string never gets sent to the modem.
CE>I have the normal Com 4 setup in a Multimedia computer, Pionex 486SX/33
CE>Soundblaster, CD-Rom. Commo runs fine from DOS, I can do everything
CE>that I am suppose to. Is there some type of PIF file that I can use
CE>to help out. Any Suggestions?
Chad; I Have a friend who always has trouble running most any modem/comm
software in windows as he insists on running comm-3. It will finnaly work
when he gets the IRQ's set right. Seems windows has some quirks about
other than comm 1 or 2. I use mouse on 1 and modem on two and nary a
problem, set Commo in dos then import to Windows and OS/2 Warp with no
problems. Just a suggestion, hope it's some help.
Fred
