This is a big simplyfication of what I asked! All I asked was that the default for posting to echomail areas for unverified new users is changed. Not local areas, not for every user! This is not helping the discussion...

Fidonet has a long history of obnoxious users/sysops too. They were always allowed to freely express there opinions and worse, and still are.
