One of the gripes Mike Miller has with so many of the talking heads is
how they will latch on to an issue, even one that is 100% bogus, like
the "Birthers," and continue to rant and rave about it, whipping up
unreasoning hatred against a politician or issue.

Good example, the talking heads like Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, etc, are
constantly beating the drums about how Obama's health care plan will
"mandate euthinasia(sp?) for old people."

It is absolutely false.

But the talking heads keep beating that drum, even *AFTER* someone on a
same show has debunked the lie.

And these blatherers influence public opinions and politicians.

Beck is going off the deep end saying the "Cash For Clunkers" (which is
actually helping the auto industry,) is someo kind of "plot."


But speaking of Birthers, they have really taken a double-play hit
yesterday and today.

All thanks to the dentist and Internet-school lawyer, Orly Taitz.
First, she has posted what she claimed was "Obama's Kenyan birth
certificate," which is turning out to be a fake.
WingNutDaily...I mean WorldNetDaily is promoting the hell out of this
fake certificate, desperately trying to avoid admitting they were
suckered, badly.

Then, Taitz appeared on the MSNBC David Shuster show this afternoon, and
she made an absolute ass of herself. And then some.
