That's right, with emphasis on *relevant*. Snipping out only the relevant
part of a comment is called quote trimming, as opposed to excessive quoting --
some people even quotes the entire message.
Every fido editor developed after 17 December 1971 (when FTS-9 was
introduced) should be able of comment linking for the benefit of those who
can't even remember what they wrote only a few days ago.
