Unlike Ethernet, most ARCnet cards are software compatible, even from 
different vendors.  You may find that the SMC OS/2 drivers work, for example. 
 The Novell TRXNET drivers are another possibility.
If I were you, I would not waste time on this.  The easiest solution is to 
swap out the PureData card with something that is officially supported under 
OS/2, such as an SMC card.  ARCnet cards are all over the place, often free.
