Before I go into my stats. I would like to ask that they rease
a version of opus for Linux 2.0.0 as that is the operating system that I
would have liked to use with Opus 1.73a
I run almost all Opus 1.73a. Exceptions are Squish for echomail
tossing. Tick 2.10.
Opus is used for all of my opererations from mailer to bbs
proper. I have had no complaints about opus itself as it works. yet it lacks
in some areas which others might agree on.
1. Ansi menus are not quite done, for example there is no easy option for a
true ansi menu for the pick section area or the history menu. Nor does Opus
seem to understand the oaview 173 commands reguardign WHen to send ansi and
when to skip the ansi side. in other words. the following psudo code follows
if ansi do this
lots of ansi
else
no fancy ansi stuff (probally for tty usesrs.
endif
I like Opus enough that I have been trying to collect as many
opus utilities as I can get my paws on. Therefore I am interested in this new
project. and lets just hope that something does come out of it.
Oh yes I run Msdos 6.22 for Opus right now. Although I would
rather run Linux 2.0.0 as the operating system as its freeware (like opus)
and is a multitasking operating system that could put opus in the inet.
