I installed telix351 in another directory, and copied telix.fon to the new
directory. It works alright.

Correct, see my reply to M.H. in this area.

I ran install.bat correctly.

It was modified, the bbs included somekind of "header" to the archive, with a
commercial message in it, and packed all of it with ARJ.
Isn't that illegal?
The date of the "header", the date of the corrupted file and the date of the
new archive was the same, and _not_ 01 may 1996! In Holland is a bbs for
telix too.
BG> Try to select the "ELSA 28.8TQV" modem!
In the dos-version is a tornado 288tqv in the modem-list, I selected that
one. It works as it should work.
