I would like any information available on neuro-muscular degenerative 
diseases. A ver dear friend is suffering from such a disease; from what she 
has told me, her own immune system is eating away at the myelin oating on her 
nerves, leading to a burning sensation in the initial stages followed by 
weakness and loss of strength in the limbs. Currentl, she is still able to 
stand and walk short distances, but must use her wheelchair more and more 
often. The specific disease she has is  related to lupus. I'm not sure of the 
name/spelling here, but it's   called something like 'neuromyalgia' or 
'fibromyalgia'. Please send any info  you    can!!!
