There is more comedy on TV than most folks realize; most
   only know about the sitcoms, the Comedy Channel, Nick at
   Night, and the Tom and Jerry cartoons.
   And don't forget the evening news. 
   But, there's something most folks don't know about -
   Closed Captioning.
   The Closed Captioning came with my TV, but with the
   loud commercials blowing me off of the couch, and
   giving me minor heart attacks, I'm using the feature
   more and more, with the sound off, or way down.
   If you like comedy, you'll love Closed Captioning. These
   clowns have an error rate of about 5 per minute on live
   shows, and about 1 per minute on taped material.
   Just today, in a showing of the movie, "Buffalo Soldiers",
   on TNT, one scene opened with a bugle playing Reveille.
   Closed Caption:  "BUGLE: Revelry"
   These errors sometimes have me, literally, rolling on
   the floor. I'm serious here.
   So, if you enjoy comedy, make sure your next TV has
   the Closed Caption capability.
